1. Service

Blueth Chess (blueth.online) is a chess improvement platform operated by LaunchDay Studio. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not share your account or allow others to access it. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use external chess engines, bots, or assistance during rated games
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from the platform
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate ratings or circumvent bans

4. User Content

Games, annotations, repertoire lines, and other content you create on Blueth Chess belong to you. By using the service, you grant LaunchDay Studio a license to store, display, and process your content as needed to operate the platform.

5. Game Data

Games played on the platform are stored and may be displayed publicly (e.g., in the opening explorer or as model games). Game data is anonymized in aggregate statistics.

6. Intellectual Property

The Blueth Chess name, logo, and brand are the property of LaunchDay Studio. The platform software is proprietary except where open-source components are used.

7. Open-Source Attribution

• Stockfish — Blueth Chess uses the Stockfish chess engine server-side for analysis. Stockfish is free software distributed under the GNU General Public License version 3 (GPLv3). Source code is available at github.com/official-stockfish/Stockfish.
• Lichess data — imported game data originates from the Lichess open database, used under Lichess open data terms (CC0 / public domain for game data).

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in cheating, or abuse the platform. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

9. Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or specific chess improvement outcomes.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LaunchDay Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UAE.
